ACIA Modal Skills Class for Spanish-Language Interpreters

The Skills Academy series is starting again. These courses are designed for working interpreters who want to brush up on their modal skills. Taught by ACIA Education Chair Scott Loos, the classes will consist of lecture and practice.

Dates: October 2, 16 & 23, 8am - 5pm each day.

Location: ASU Mercado (downtown Phoenix campus)

Cost: $225 - includes classes and parking at the Heritage Center garage.

An application must be filled out and submitted in order to attend. The course instructor may request and interview with individual applicants to assess suitability for enrollment. Applicant approval is left to the sole discretion of the course instructor.

Attendants must attend all three days of instruction and earn a satisfactory final grade in order to qualify for Session II, to be held in early Spring 2011.
