NCI's FCICE Written Test Preparation

To better prepare candidates for success on the FCICE Written Examination, The National Center for Interpretation offers the FCICE Written Examination Prep Seminar. This seminar provides you with essential practice, using actual retired copies of the written exam, as well as proven study and test-taking strategies. The seminar covers topics in both the English and Spanish portions of the exam, including:

  • Terminology/vocabulary building
  • Reading skills improvement
  • Identifying most appropriate translation and grammatical usage

NCI is proud to introduce a redesigned FCICE Test Prep Package to even better help you prepare to take the written portion of not only the Federal exam, but all court/legal written interpreter examinations. Starting in 2012 all participants will also receive:

  • An additional retired FCICE Sample Exam

2012 Spring Plenary - CSI: Homicide

As part of this ACIA workshop, participants will learn several aspects of crime scene investigation, including identification, collection and packaging of evidence; crime scene photography; blood sampling and processing; blood spatter analysis; and fingerprint collection and analysis. Group exercises employing expert-witness testimony will be used to illustrate the meaning of CSI terminology. Glossaries and term lists will be provided.
