Help Shape the Next Issue of Proteus

By: The Proteus Committee

Proteus is built by our community, and we are ACTIVELY  looking for more voices to help shape what comes next for the next Proteus issue.

Whether you have something to write or want to get more involved behind the scenes, there is a place for you!

Submit to Proteus

We are currently accepting submissions for our December issues of Proteus.

The Deadline for submissions is October 16, 2026.

Have an idea, experience, perspective, research project, or professional insight you think our community should be talking about? We want to hear from you. Submissions from both new and returning contributors are welcome.

We are interested in pieces that reflect the broadness of the judiciary interpreting and translation field, explore emerging issues in the profession, share practical knowledge, or encourage thoughtful conversation among our members.

December 2026 Issue Timeline

Dates may be subject to adjustment based on editorial needs.

We are inviting active NAJIT members who are interested in serving on the Proteus Committee to reach out and learn more. Committee members help develop ideas, connect with potential contributors, review content, and continue building Proteus into a publication that reflects the interests and experiences of our community.

You do not have to be a writer to contribute. We are seeking people who are curious, collaborative, and interested in helping Proteus grow.

Committee appointments are subject to approval by the NAJIT Board of Directors.
